Traditional recipe for stretched banitsa with homemade kneaded and stretched dough.
Ingredients:
- Water – 500 ml
- Flour – ~900 g
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Oil – 1 tablespoon
- Vinegar – 1 tablespoon
- For the filling: Cow’s milk cheese, fat (oil or lard)
Instructions: Knead soft dough. Divide it into 6-8 balls and let them rest. Each ball is stretched until transparent. Sprinkle with fat, crumble cheese and roll up. Bake at 190 degrees until golden.
