A traditional recipe for dried stuffed peppers, typical of the village of Kulina Voda.
Ingredients:
Dried peppers
Meat (finely chopped)
Rice
Onion
Tomatoes (sliced)
Oil
Salt, black pepper, savory
Preparation:
The dried peppers are soaked. The meat, onion, and rice are sautéed with the spices. The peppers are then stuffed with the mixture. They are arranged in a baking dish over sliced tomatoes, drizzled with oil and water (in a ratio of 3:1 to the rice), and baked.
