Community Center “Stancho Stanchev-1896” – Folklore Group, Sushitsa

Northern folk songs include harvest songs with calls, wedding songs, spinning-room songs, ritual songs, and Christmas carols. The region is well known for its haiduk (rebel) songs. Monophonic singing is typical. The community center in Sushitsa preserves these authentic traditions through its folklore group.
